As we all know 2020 has taken a massive turn. With lockdown rules and social distancing in place. Many will be wondering if it is still possible to have a party in these winter months.

The answer is yes, it is still possible. However there are a few aspects you will need to consider. Also if you do go into a full lockdown it is best not to host a party.

Firstly, you will need to consider social distancing and not mixing households. I would personally recommend giving people 1 hours time slots to come and visit throughout the day so you are not mixing more than two households at one time. Also keep your distance at all times of at least 1 meter apart.

When catering for this kind of party, I would recommend one of two options. You could create graze boxes. So everyone who comes is given their own plate of food. Or have a handful of food over the table in sample sizes for people to try.
